A strike of the Western Washington Crane Operators and other workers is currently impacting all City of Tukwila road construction projects

A strike of the Western Washington Crane Operators and other workers is currently impacting all City of Tukwila road construction projects (42nd Avenue S, 53rd Avenue S, and the Boeing Access Road Bridge Rehabilitation). Until the labor agreement is settled, all of the City’s projects are affectively stopped and no work is being performed.


Transportation advisory group volunteer opportunity

Metro and the City of Tukwila have partnered on a Community Connections project to address the local mobility needs of Tukwila residents, and to improve mobility options for residents traveling to, from and around Tukwila. King County Metro’s  Community Connections Program  brings mobility services to areas of King County that do not have the infrastructure, density or land use to support traditional bus service.


Help Tukwila celebrate National Night Out Against Crime on August 7, 2018

Tuesday, August 7 is National Night Out Against Crime! This is a night for America to stand together and promote awareness, safety, and neighborhood unity. National Night Out showcases the vital importance of police-community partnerships and citizen involvement in our fight for a safer nation. On NNO, we invite neighborhoods citywide to join us and “give crime a going away party”.
