The City of Tukwila is hosting a Rain Barrel Workshop for Tukwila residents on Wednesday, June 12 from 6:30pm to 7:30pm at the Tukwila Community Center.
At the workshop you will learn:
- Benefits of rainwater catchment
- How & where to install rain barrels
- How to maintain your rain barrel
- How to use the collected water
The workshop costs $20 and includes a rain barrel with water diverter kit delivered to your home. There is a limit of one rain barrel per household. Residents not attending the workshop can purchase a rain barrel (without a water diverter kit) for $45. Availability of these rain barrels is limited.
