This Committee provides policy recommendations on legislative matters relating to transportation, traffic, streets, water, sewer, surface water, power, street lighting and signals, solid waste and recycling, river basins and levees, telecommunications and fleet. The Planning Commission acts as the land use advisory body for the City Council and reviews and makes recommendations to the City Council on the City's Comprehensive Plan, Shoreline Plan, Subdivision, Zoning and Sign Codes.
