Baker Commodities Site
This kayak and boat-supported clean up will work to clean up legacy debris in the river at the Baker Commodities Site in Tukwila. We’ll meet on Day 1 at about 9:00 AM and kayak downriver 2.6 miles to the cleanup site, removing surface debris during the low tide period (prepare to get muddy and messy!). Our take-out and debris removal location will be around the bend. On Day 2, we’ll meet at about 10:00 AM at the Baker Commodities Site to finish the removal of any remaining surface debris, and float downstream 1.5 miles to our take-out at Codiga Park.
