
Open House with Puget Sound Energy & Seattle City Light

In an effort to educate commercial and multifamily building owners about the Washington Clean Buildings Performance Standard, Puget Sound Energy and Seattle City Light will host a joint open house event on:

Tukwila Community Center – 12424 42nd Ave S
** For the highest level of support, we recommend you bring a laptop and a recent PSE and/or Seattle City Light utility bill.
The focus region for this event is outside the city limits of Seattle. We want to support building owners and operators who are already underway in their compliance journey as well as those that haven’t yet heard of the law. We are asking for your help to get the word out about this free event!

Are you familiar with the Washington Clean Buildings Performance Standard? The Clean Buildings law applies to commercial and multifamily buildings 20,000 square feet and larger. You can learn more about the state law here.
Join a free open house where you’ll receive energy benchmarking support, discuss your questions with the Department of Commerce, and speak with your utility representatives. The event will be held in Tukwila on Wednesday, May 14 from 8am to 1pm. Register to receive an invite with event and location details.
This is a child-friendly event, and light refreshments will be provided. You may drop in at any time and stay as long as you like. By attending this event, you’ll receive the following support:
1. Set up an ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager account
2. Benchmark your building’s energy use
3. Review required documentation – templates will be provided to get you started
4. Support with commissioning
5. Learn about incentives and rebates for energy efficiency project
