Join us for an Emergency Preparedness Planning Workshop Thursday, September 19 6:30 to 8:30pm at the Tukwila Community Center
The workshop will be held at the Tukwila Community Center on September 19 from 6:30pm to 8:30pm for a FREE Emergency Preparedness Planning Workshop. At this workshop, we’ll discuss the critical elements your emergency plan needs to keep you and your household safe during a disaster.
Topics include:
* Emergency Communications Plan – learn where you can go to get emergency information AND make a plan for how you’ll communicate with your loved ones.
* Tips for all Circumstances – Do you have a disability? Share your home with pets? Have small children? Learn preparedness and planning tips for all the circumstances that make your household unique.
* Build-a-Kit – We’ll discuss the items you should have in a grab-n-go kit as well as a shelter-in-place kit.
* Regional Hazards – We’ll discuss the regions hazards and what you can do before, during, and after a disaster to keep you and your household safe.
* And so much more!
Materials, including a fillable, bound booklet, are provided for FREE to attendees. Attendees should come prepared to complete the workbook while during the workshop.
