Community Book Club

Join us for our 1st ever Tukwila Parks & Recreation Book Club. May 1st book club members will meet at TCC to discuss logistics, the book we will read, and discuss in June, brainstorm other book ideas, and decide on the next meeting date.

The book we will read in May is The Personal Librarian, a GMA Book Club Pick, written by Marie Benedict and Victoria Christopher Murray. The book is a remarkable novel about J. P. Morgan’s personal librarian, Belle da Costa Greene, the Black American woman who was forced to hide her true identity and pass as white in order to leave a lasting legacy that enriched our nation, from New York Times bestselling authors Marie Benedict and Victoria Christopher Murray.

Facilitator, Verna Seal, will assist those who register in obtaining a copy of the current books.
