Bicentennial Park – REI Riverside Restoration

November 13 @ 9:00 am - 1:00 pm

Join REI and local Steward Chris for a morning of Riverside Restoration just off the Green River Trail. Himalayan Blackberry and Bindweed are aggressively taking over and choking out young native trees and understory plants. Volunteers are taking back the native land and clearing these invasives to allow the forest to grow.

What to Bring

Dress for the weather, wear closed-toed shoes, and cover your legs and arms; blackberry is very scratchy. Bring a full water bottle and tough gardening gloves if you have them.  All tools and training is provided onsite.

Where to Meet
