Sewer Lift Station 5 Rebuild (Fort Dent)

Project Overview

Design Phase: A sewer lift station is a facility that helps move wastewater uphill when natural gravity flow is not sufficient. It plays a crucial role in preventing sewage backups and ensuring proper wastewater transport to treatment facilities. The electrical components at lift station 5 will be moved to grade level to meet confined space requirements. The existing pumps will be replaced, and the existing generator will be relocated. Landscaping will be replaced at the conclusion of the project and an artistic design will be used to blend in the site. Construction is expected to start later in 2024.
