Pet Licenses
Tukwila partners for pet licensing and animal control services with Regional Animal Services of King County (RASKC). By law, all cats and dogs in the City of Tukwila must be licensed. Tukwila City Hall is one of many locations where customers can purchase a pet license, please see our hours of operation. To renew online, please visit http://www.KingCounty.gov/pets
Animal license fees are as follows:
Animal License Fees
| Spayed/neutered cat or dog (proof required) | $30.00 per year |
| Unaltered cat or dog | $60.00 per year |
| Juvenile cat or dog (under 6 months old) - 6 month expiration date | $15.00 |
| Senior Citizen (altered pet, applicant must be 65 or older) | $15.00 per year If tag was purchased on or before 6/30/10, it will continue to be renewed automatically each year at no cost. |
| Replacement for lost tag | $5.00 per tag |
| Service animal (registration paperwork required) | Free with owner's signed statement certifying a disability and that the animal is used to assist due to the disability. |
| Disabled | $15.00 annual fee with application. Applicants can call Pet Licensing at 206-296-2712. |
| Fine for Unlicensed Pet | $125.00 for a spayed/neutered pet. $250.00 for an unaltered pet. |
All pet licenses expire 12 months from the month purchased (excluding juvenile licenses).
