Civil Service Commission Vacancy

The City of Tukwila is currently accepting applications for a vacant position on the Civil Service Commission. The Civil Service Commission consists of three members appointed by the Mayor to exercise the powers and perform the duties established by state law and the Tukwila Municipal Code 2.42.030 in connection with the selection, appointment, promotion, demotion and employment of commissioned police officers and non-commissioned police personnel.

To be eligible to serve on the Civil Service Commission you must meet the following criteria:
1) Be a citizen of the United States;
2) Be a resident of the City of Tukwila for at least three years; and
3) Be registered to vote in King County.
