Take the 42nd Ave S. Bridge Replacement Survey
We’d like to know your thoughts on the alignment of the 42nd Ave S. Bridge replacement by filling out a survey by March 23rd, 2022.
Art Walk at Riverton Creek
Art is literally a living element at the recently completed Riverton Flapgate Removal Project, next to and along the Green River Trail. Trail users can take in five art pieces as they make their way east along the trail between Tukwila International Boulevard and East Marginal Way South.
42nd Ave S. Bridge Closure Update
As you are likely aware, the 42nd Ave S Bridge was subject to an over height impact from a truck on Wednesday 12/15. The bridge was closed shortly after this incident by the City Police Department and will remain closed until repairs are complete to ensure the safety of all who use this route.

Join us on July 14, 2021 from 6:00pm to 7:30pm at the Tukwila Community Center for an Allentown Neighborhood Open House. We will be discussing next steps for the 42nd Avenue South bridge replacement and BNSF intermodal facility access alternatives.

The Annual Clean Up Day is designed to help Tukwila residents dispose of bulky household items. Residents must be a Waste Management customer to participate.

Public Meeting to Provide Input on Tukwila’s Stormwater Management Program (SWMP) Plan on February 20, 2019
To meet the requirements of the City of Tukwila’s Western Washington Phase II Municipal Stormwater Permit, the City’s Stormwater Management Program Plan is currently being updated. Tukwila’s Public Works Department would like public input to help direct the updates. Please join us at a public meeting for an overview of the proposed changes on Wednesday, February 20, 2019.
