Puget Sound Clean Air Agency has issued its first-ever summertime air quality burn ban
Puget Sound Clean Air Agency has declared that the air quality is unhealthy for sensitive groups. Children, elderly, and those with heart and breathing problems to be cautious. Wildfire smoke has been moving in from British Columbia and is expected to remain in the region and negatively affect air quality through at least Friday, August 4th.

Tukwila consistently makes the list because we have a small residential population, which is dwarfed by the significant amount of people who come to Tukwila to work, shop and play. On average, more than 150,000 people are in Tukwila every day; less than 20,000 people sleep here every night.

Don’t miss Tukwila’s Annual Clean Up on Friday, June 9. Instead of hauling your junk to the transfer station, bring it to your curb for disposal. The Annual Clean Up is designed to help Tukwila households, single-family up to 4 – plex, dispose of bulky household items.
