Free & Low Cost Veterinary Care

May 11 @ 11:00 am - 1:00 pm

Renton Library is partnering with Washington Health Outreach for free and low-cost veterinary care for community members in need.  Washington Health Outreach will be set up in the parking lot of the library.
Care is provided first come, first served. For a list of available services and future clinic dates, visit WAHealthOutreach.org/schedule

Schedule & Services

All services are walk-in and first come first serve, no appointments. WA Health Outreach team recommends that you arrive earlier than the start time of the clinic. Expect to wait some time for your turn to be seen, so bring what you need to stay comfortable. The team will do their best to get through our line as quickly as we can while delivering high quality patient care to every family. Please remember that they are a small team and we may not have the capacity to see every pet that comes to a clinic. WA Health Outreach is grateful for your understanding and patience as we work hard to meet the needs in our community.

Household Income Levels

Washington Health Outreach offers free and low cost veterinary care for people who are unhoused or with income that does not exceed twice the 2023 Federal Poverty Limit (see chart below). If you are housed with a low income, we ask that you bring verification of income with you to our clinic. Examples are:

Bank statement

SSI/SSID documents

Subsidized housing documents or letters from housing

Most recent paycheck stubs

EBT

Other reasonably accessible proof of income

Regional Animal Services of King County – Late fees waived through June 30

A pet license provides peace of mind should your pet ever get lost. Last year, RASKC reunited 831 lost pets with their owner thanks to a license. Your license fee also helps fund the vital, life-saving work we do at RASKC. Now through June 30, 2024, you can renew an expired pet license and have the late fee waived.

** Visit Tukwila City Hall at 6200 Southcenter Blvd, Tukwila to get or renew your license.  City Hall is open Mondays-Thursdays from 8:30 am – 4:00 pm.

License online here or call 206-296-2712.
