| Work on the Tukwila Comprehensive Plan is winding down. Your input is needed now, more than ever! Join us for a Community Open House on February 1, 2024 from 4:30pm to 8:30pm at the Sullivan Center (14350 Tukwila International Blvd). Pizza and light refreshments will be provided.
You are invited to provide comment on the Plan before it moves on to the Planning Commission for a Public Hearing in March 2024. Please check out the Plan’s website to take a survey, read up on recent changes, and provide your input on the draft Plan. In recent months, the Planning Commission focus has been on issues of Housing, Natural Environment and Climate Change, Land Use, and Transportation. Please let us know what YOU think! _____________________________________________________________________ HOW CAN I GET INVOLVED?A full periodic review is a once-in-a-decade opportunity to revisit our community vision. As a Tukwila resident, your input is crucial to the success of this plan as it will shape our goals for years to come. Staff are starting to meet with community groups to hear their thoughts about the Plan, and we are finalizing the public participation plan.
