This is now the second Fourth of July holiday that legal, consumer fireworks are allowed within the Tukwila city limits. This is a reminder that it is still unlawful to have in possession or to use, fire, or discharge ANY fireworks in any public park within the City, including vehicle parking areas within or adjacent to a park. Legal fireworks can be purchased from firework stands within the city limits.
Only ground based, consumer fireworks are are allowed within the Tukwila city limits. No aerial fireworks are allowed, as they are illegal to discharge.
Below are the dates that legal, consumer fireworks can be used/discharged within the City:
- Wednesday, June 28th: 12 noon to 11 p.m.
- Thursday, June 29th through Monday, July 3rd: 9 a.m. to 11 p.m.
- Tuesday, July 4th: 9 a.m. to 12 midnight
- Wednesday, July 5th: 9 a.m. to 11 p.m.
