Open Request for Proposals: Tukwila Parks & Recreation 2026 Parks, Recreation, and Open Space Plan Consultant

The Tukwila Parks and Recreation Department has an open RFP for a consultant to assist with the writing and synthesizing of its 2026 Parks, Recreation, and Open Space Plan. The chosen consultant(s) will be tasked with:

  • Creation of the Capital Improvement Program Needs Assessment
  • Creation of a Parks Maintenance Operations Plan
  • Evaluation of current and projected service capacity levels for the Tukwila parks, trails, and open space system
  • Providing a recommendation for overall maintenance FTE levels for the Parks Maintenance Department
  • Creation of a training plan for Levels of Service recommendations
  • Facilitation of PROS Plan Adoption
  • Synthesizing their created work with the following documents:

The Tukwila Community Center Business Plan (In production)

The Tukwila Parks & Recreation Programming Plan (In production)

The Foster Golf Links business plan (Completed as of last year)
