3PM | National Water Dance Performance, Tukwila Community Center
Karin Stevens Dance will lead a Community Movement Choir along with professional performances by KSD and other local artists in front of the Duwamish River. Featuring live singing by The People’s Echo.
National Water Dance is an artist-driven collective of dancers, students, educators and community members who create simultaneous performances across the United States. National Water Dance promotes dance as a voice for environmental awareness through collaborations with the artistic, educational and environmental communities.

For Movers of all ages, abilities and interests!
Karin will lead two free workshops for dance groups and movers of all levels, ages, and abilities to engage in movement practices that deepen our sensory capacity for relationship with the natural world. Participants will learn the simple opening and closing movements for National Water Dance and have the option to join the performance on April 18th.
